It's March and this month, we are focusing on making it a point to be a better Johorean/human and get out more! Meet new people, try a new skill, get involved. It's truly the best way to grow and develop into a better version of yourself. Here are our event picks for the month: 


1. Intertwined Parallel Lines 交X平行線


What would happen if you put 3 contemporary choreographers together? Hosted by G Six Studio, Jeffrey Yong and his dance studio brings together 3 different styles of work, 3 dances, and 3 flavours of movement. When these 3 parallel lines intertwined, what perception of dance would audience experience?

2. Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2016 


The Short Shorts Film Festival (SSFF) invites film buffs and you who just love watching films to this one-night-only festival, where 6 short films will be screened, including Oscar-winning short, "Sing". You can find the full line-up here! Bonus! There will also be an Abridged Visual Storytelling Workshop with a screening of "My Ba's Radio", and the great news is that it's totally FREE!

3. Artistry Art Jam


Inspired by a bunch of artsy friends, Paperwalls at Southkey brings the fun and all things creative to you with 3 sessions of art jam. The Art Jam concept is that you show up, and simply just paint! Light refreshments and art materials will provided.

4. Kampung Tapir Filmmaking Workshop


Calling all students aged between 13 and 19, the group of filmmakers from the upcoming short film "Kampung Tapir" are conducting a 3-day filmmaking workshop for students. Rub shoulders with filmmakers and create a short film of your own by the end of the workshop.


Language used are English (with some BM and Mandarin)
